How to use HonkinDeals.com
First, it is important to know that there are 2 credit types on our website, Bid Credits and Store Credits. When you purchase a Store Credit, you automatically get a free Bid Credit, for being a valued customer. (you cannot purchase Bid Credits, they have no dollar value) Every time you bid, it reduces your Bid Credit count by one. And everytime you purchase something with a Store Credit (they can be used to pay for store items, and auction items) it reduces your store credit count. How to use HonkinDeals.com's Penny Auction:
Before starting, you need to register. Click here to register. When you register, you will receive 3 free Bid Credits! If you decide to register yourself multiple times, to get free bids, we reserve the right to not ship your product! If you lost your password, or cant' login, please email info@honkindeals.com and we will gladly help you out.
1. Purchase some Store Credits. They can be purchased in various increments. With the purchase of Store Credits, you will receive the same number of Bid Credits. Your account must have Bid Credits available to bid on our Penny Auctions.
2. Bid on the item(s) of your choice. Make sure you are logged into Honkindeals.com, and you have a positive Bid Credit balance. Simply click on the auction you want to participate in, and then click "Bid". You can only Bid 1 penny at a time. (Hence the name "Penny Auction") If the auction timer has less than 20 seconds left, every bid placed puts the timer back to 20 seconds. However, due to internet latency, it is best to not wait until the last second or two to bid. We recommend bidding at 20 seconds if you are serious about winning. Every bid placed will deduct one Bid Credit from your Bid Credit balance. Click here to watch a video clip of bidding.
Power User Tip: If you have two web browsers open in two windows it will help you stay on top of the bidding.
3. Win the Item! If you have the highest bid when the auction closes, you have won the item! Note: The auction may restart within a few seconds of closing, this is due to internet latency, your computer may be a few seconds ahead of the server. Before celebrating, keep an eye on the page for another 15 seconds. Click here to check your computer time against official Honkin Deals time.
4. Pay for the Item you won. Simply do this by checking out. Auction items cannot be paid with store credits, you must pay them with your credit card or PayPal.
How to use the HonkinDeals.com Store:
1. Choose a product. The price will be shown in store credits.
2. Add the product to your cart. Note that you cannot have an auction product and a store credit product in your cart at the same time.
3. Checkout! If you do not have enough Store Credits available, you will need to purchase more store credits in order to checkout. However, the shipping is paid with PayPal or your credit card, so you only need to purchase enough store credits to cover the product you are interested in.
